講座内容
In this class we will practice and review patterns and idioms in a lively way and in their cultural context. Come along to experience REAL language in a relaxed atmosphere! Do you wish to understand native speakers better? Do you feel you need to acquire more fluency? Join us to Challenge Your Skills! This course focuses on speaking and listening skills using original materials and traveling virtually around the world. In recent semesters we have visited Argentina, France, South Korea & Thailand. Some situational English included (at the restaurant, at the bank),while topics included festivals, animal welfare, historical events, UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Grammatical forms practiced: [to be + ing] for current actions, [used to] for habits in the past, the use of plural. Outside of the class, reading aloud to improve flow is recommended. Repetition is the key to improvement!
