What does it mean to open a window ???? You get some view of the outside, right? So, this course is trying to get you to open NEW (virtual) windows, to see situations or issues related to European histories, cultures and societies from A NEW ANGLE. From lighter topics such as "daily routines" or culture through food to deeper ones, like in recent semesters: unemployment & underemployment, The Influence of Religion on Daily Life, Gender Equality, the Collapse of the Berlin Wall. Themes are derived from support materials: a film, news items, or seasonal events.
